VII Incontro Mondiale delle Famiglie
Il tema del VII Incontro mondiale delle Famiglie, che si è svolto a Milano dal 30 maggio al 3 giugno, è stato «La famiglia: la festa e il lavoro». Il Santo Padre Benedetto XVI, in una lettera al presidente del Pontificio Consiglio per la Famiglia, definisce la festa e il lavoro «doni e benedizioni di Dio per aiutarci a vivere un’esistenza pienamente umana». In un mondo in cui il mercato e le sue regole permeano l’attuale organizzazione del lavoro e il tempo dell’uomo è scandito da ritmi sempre più serrati, la festa è vissuta come evasione dalla routine quotidiana più che come occasione per ritrovarsi in famiglia, ed assume dunque una connotazione fortemente individualistica. Partendo dai vissuti e dalle testimonianze delle famiglie provenienti a Milano da tutto il mondo, e prendendo spunto dalla famiglia per eccellenza, quella di Nazareth, si è voluto da un lato promuovere una riflessione sui modelli sociali di riferimento, ricercando la compatibilità tra lavoro e famiglia, e dall’altro recuperare il vero senso della festa, specialmente della domenica,
quale giorno di riconciliazione con Dio e tra i componenti della più piccola forma di comunità: tra marito e moglie, tra genitori e figli, tra generazioni.

Le thème de la 7ème Rencontre mondiale des Familles qui a eu lieu à Milan du 30 mai au 3 juin 2012, a été «La famille: la fête et le travail». Dans une lettre adressée au président du Conseil Pontifi cal pour la Famille, le Pape Benoît XVI défi nit la fête et le travail comme des «dons et bénédictions de Dieu pour nous aider à vivre une existence pleinement humaine». Dans un monde où le marché et ses règles imprègnent l’organisation actuelle
du travail et où le temps de l’homme connaît des rythmes de plus en plus soutenus, la fête est vécue comme une évasion de la routine quotidienne, plus que comme une occasion de se retrouver en famille, et prend donc une connotation fortement individualiste. À partir des expériences et des témoignages des familles venant à Milan depuis le monde entier, et s’inspirant de la famille par excellence, celle de Nazareth, on a réfléchi, d’un côté, sur les modèles sociaux de référence, en recherchant la compatibilité entre travail et famille, et de l’autre, sur le retour au véritable sens de la fête, et particulièrement la fête dominicale, jour de réconciliation avec Dieu et entre les composants de la plus petite forme de communauté: entre mari et femme, entre parents et enfants, entre générations.
Une très belle reproduction d’une famille heureuse, tournée vers l’avenir, le Dom de Milan en arrière-plan, est l’oeuvre réalisée par l’artiste Gabriella Titotto.

7th World Meeting of Families
The theme of the 7th World Meeting of Families hold from 30 May to 3 June 2012 was: “The Family: Work and Celebration”. In a letter to the President of the Pontifi cal Council for the Family, the Holy Father Benedict XVI noted that the family, work and holidays
are “gifts and blessings to help us to live a fully human life”. In our day the organization of work is conceived of and implemented in terms of the market and its rules, marked by an increasingly frenetic rhythm. A holiday becomes more of an opportunity to escape from this daily routine, taking on a strongly individualistic nature, instead of being an occasion to spend time together with the family. The gathering highlighted the experiences and testimonies of families coming to Milan from around the world and inspired by the family par excellence of Nazareth. The idea was to promote a refl ection on the different aspects of life in modern society, seeking compatibility between work and family. At the same time, the aim was to recover a true sense of celebration, especially on Sundays, the day of reconciliation with God and among members of the smallest type of community: husband and wife, parents and children, and people of different generations.

VII. Weltfamilientreffen
Das Motto des VII. Weltfamilientreffens, das vom 30. Mai bis zum 3. Juni in Mailand stattfand, lautete: »Die Familie: Arbeit und Fest«. Der Heilige Vater Benedikt XVI. definiert in einem an den Präsidenten des Päpstlichen Rates für die Familie gerichteten Schreiben, dass Familie, Festtag und Arbeit »Gabe und Segen Gottes sind, um uns zu helfen, ein vollmenschliches Leben zu führen«. In einer Welt, in der der Markt und seine Gesetze die
aktuelle Organisation der Arbeit durchdringen und die Zeit des Menschen von einem immer schnelleren Rhythmus bestimmt ist, wird der Festtag als Ausbruch aus der Alltagsroutine erlebt und nicht als eine Gelegenheit des Zusammenfi ndens im Familienkreis und nimmt demnach stark individualistische Züge an. Ausgehend von den Erlebnissen und den Zeugnissen der Familien, die aus aller Welt in Mailand zusammenkamen, und nach dem Beispiel der Familie überhaupt, der Familie von Nazaret, möchte man einerseits das Nachdenken über die sozialen Bezugsmodelle fördern und
die Vereinbarkeit von Arbeit und Familie wiedererlangen und andererseits den wahren Sinn des Festtags wiederherstellen, besonders des Sonntags, als Tag der Versöhnung mit Gott und der Versöhnung der Mitglieder der kleinsten Form der Gemeinschaft: zwischen Eheleuten, zwischen Eltern und Kindern, zwischen den Generationen.
Eine wunderschöne Darstellung einer fröhlichen und der Zukunft entgegenkommenden Familie, mit dem Dom von Mailand im Hintergrund, ist das Werk der Künstlerin Gabriella Titotto.

El tema del VII Encuentro mundial de las Familias, que se ha celebrado en Milán, desde el 30 de mayo al 3 de junio, ha sido «La familia: la fi esta y el trabajo». El Santo Padre Benedicto XVI, en una carta dirigida al Presidente del Consejo Pontifi cio para la
Familia, defi ne la fi esta y el trabajo como «dones y bendiciones de Dios para ayudarnos a vivir una existencia plenamente humana».
En un mundo en que el mercado y sus reglas permean la actual organización del trabajo y el tiempo del hombre está marcado por ritmos cada vez más estrictos, la fi esta se entiende más como evasión de la vida cotidiana que como ocasión para encontrarse en familia, y asume, por lo tanto, una connotación fuertemente individualista. A partir de las experiencias y de los testimonios de las familias llegadas a Milán de todo el mundo, y tomando inspiración de la familia por excelencia, aquella de Nazareth, se ha querido por un lado promover una refl exión sobre los modelos sociales de referencia, buscando la compatibilidad entre el trabajo y la familia, y por otro recuperar el verdadero sentido de la fiesta, especialmente del domingo, como día de reconciliación con Dios y entre los componentes de la más pequeña forma de comunidad: marido y mujer, padres e hijos, generaciònes.
